Get the Sharp Buyer Pre-qualification!
Before you begin to shop for a new home, you should set up a time to meet with our staff so we can determine how much of a home you can comfortably afford. This will put you in a stronger position as a buyer and help relieve the stress commonly associated with buying a home. Additionally, before a home is taken off the market, all realtors and sellers want to know that the buyer is qualified to buy their home.
To get pre-qualified for a loan, you will complete a mortgage application and provide us with various information verifying your employment, assets and financial status such as W-2 forms, bank records and credit card statements. We’ll review your mortgage options, assess your goals for a down payment and get an idea of different loan programs that would work for you. We then will seek loan approval based upon the information you submitted. Once the application is approved, you can have further confidence that you are qualified for the loan you applied for. We will issue you a pre-qualification letter indicating the amount you are pre-qualified to borrow.
It is important to understand that a pre-qualification letter is just an estimate of what you are eligible to borrow, not a commitment to lend.
Getting pre-qualified for a loan gives you a competitive advantage when the time comes to bid on a home because you have been reviewed for a loan for a specified amount.
