Bill and his Dad founded Sharp Mortgages, Inc. over 33 years ago while working in the real estate industry investing and managing residential and commercial real estate. In addition to being a leader in the area of mortgage lending, Bill is considered to be an expert in the field of real estate investments and property management.

Bill can offer you over 33 years of first-hand experience in acquisition, management, and sales of real property. Add this to his combined mortgage lending and title insurance background, and you will find few people as experienced or qualified to be able to offer you the advice you need to make important real estate lending decisions. Bill's knowledge and industry experience in home equity lending resulted in his being selected by his peers to serve on a National Home Equity Advisory Board by one of the largest mortgage lenders in the country.

Bill is also is a licensed Florida Title Agent and the founder of Jacksonville Title and Trust, LLC. Insuring title to real property across Florida, Jacksonville Title and Trust, LLC. was one of the largest title insurance providers in the area in 2005.

Bill is a graduate ofthe University of North Florida and the University of South Florida where he obtained a degree in business and was a collegiate tennis player. Prior to entering the field of real estate and mortgage finance, Bill was a tennis pro for several years. Today, Bill continues to play competitive tennis and has held both a state and national ranking in both singles and doubles. Sharp Mortgages, Inc. is a proud sponsor of the Serving up a Cure Tennis Tournament held at the Deerwood Country Club which was co-founded by Bill in 2011. Each year the tournament makes significant contributions in the local area towards those afflicted by cancer. In 2016, Bill was elected the "Humanitarian of the Year" by the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors for his contribution to our local community.  Bill is also a board member of the Mayo Clinic's Gabriel House of Care.

In addition to being licensed as a mortgage lender in Florida, Bill also holds a Florida Real Estate Brokers License, and a Florida Mortgage Brokers License. Bill has been an active member of both the Florida Association of Mortgage Brokers, Northeast Florida Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.
